Description: The homeland of thyme is the Mediterranean and Mesopotamia. The name Latin comes from Greek in origin. Thymus is a Greek word meaning courage. That's why the Greeks decorated their warriors with thyme branches to give them courage.
Areas of use and effects: Thyme, which has many varieties, is the most commonly used medicinal herb and spice in our country, known by almost everyone. In ancient Greece and in earlier periods, it was primarily used as a germicide, reliever of lung diseases, anti-inflammatory, wound healing, blood pressure enhancer, parasite reducer, blood circulation accelerator, immune booster, digestion promoter, appetite stimulant, antifungal and as an aid in many other ailments.
How to use: It is used by adding 2 drops into 5 ml of base oil and diluting. It is also used in aromatherapy by adding 1-2 drops of thyme oil to aromatherapy lamps.
